Step-by-Step Integration

1. Create a Service in Booktics

  • Navigate to Booktics > Services
  • Click on + New Service
  • Fill out the necessary details like:
    • Service name
    • Category
    • Duration
    • Price
    • Assign team members
  • Hit Save or Publish

2. To get the Booktics Service List on Your Directory Listing, You Have to Enable the Widget We Have Made

To display the Booktics service list inside your directory listings, follow the steps below to enable the integration field via the Directory Builder.

Steps to Enable Booktics Service Field:

  1. Go to your WordPress Dashboard.
  2. Navigate to: Directory Listings → Directory Builder.
  3. Click on the “Add Listing Form” tab at the top.
  4. In the Preset Fields section on the left, locate the field named “Booktics Service”.
  5. Drag and drop the Booktics Service field into your preferred position on the listing form (e.g., under General Information or any custom section).
  6. Click the “Update” button at the top right to save your changes.

Now, every time a user adds a new listing, they will see a Booktics Service dropdown, allowing them to attach services directly from Booktics to their listing.

This step is essential to ensure booking functionality appears in your directory listings.

3. Create a Listing in Directorist

  • Go to Directory All Listings > Add New Listing
  • Add all the relevant information like:
    • Title
    • Description
    • Location
    • Category

🔗 Most Important Step: Scroll down to the Booktics Services section. From the dropdown, select the service you created earlier.

4. Now, Display the Booking Button on the Single Listing Page

To display the Booktics Booking Button on your single listing pages, you need to add the dedicated widget to your single layout using the Directory Builder.

Steps to Add the Booking Button:

  1. Go to your WordPress Dashboard.
  2. Navigate to: Directory Listings → Directory Builder.
  3. Click on the “Single Page Layout” tab > “Contents“.
  4. From the left sidebar, find the widget called “Select Booktics Service”.
  5. Drag and drop the Button widget to your desired position on the single listing layout (e.g., sidebar, below description, etc.).
  6. Click the “Update” button at the top right to save the layout.

Once added, the booking button will appear on each listing that has a Booktics service connected, enabling users to book directly from the listing page.

5. If you want to enable the “Book Now” Button in the Directorist Listing Right Sidebar

To make the booking button visible:

  • Go to Appearance > Widgets
  • Locate the Directorist Listing Sidebar
  • Add the widget: Booktics with Directorist Service
  • Optionally, you can change the button text (e.g., “Reserve Now” or “Schedule Appointment”)
  • Click Save

Now the Book Now button will appear on your listing frontend page.

📍 Example view: After hitting publish, you will get a layout below for your listing.

When customers click the Book Now button, they will be redirected to the Booktics booking page for that service.

6. Manage Orders

All bookings are made via Booktics. You will get the booking data on,

  • Booktics > Orders

Here you can manage appointments, view order status, and customer details.
